Legal basis for the processing of personal data

We process Personal Data in accordance with the requirements of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act and, if and to the extent applicable, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Where we deem it appropriate, we may provide you with additional privacy policies.  In the event we obtain the consent of the data subject for the processing of personal data, such consent serves as the legal basis for such processing. CureOmics will also process personal data if such processing is required for the performance and administration of a contract to which the data subject is a party, including operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, if the processing of personal data is required to fulfil a legal obligation to which CureOmics is subject, if the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data. 

Server log files

Every time you visit our website, the website hoster automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP Address. These data are not combined with other data sources. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Therefore, there is no possibility of the user to object to this kind of processing.

Hosting

The hosting services we use serve to provide the following services: Infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, security services and technical maintenance services that we use for the purpose of operating this website. 

 

Use of cookies

To continuously improve our website we create pseudonymized user profiles through cookies, which are text files placed on your computer. Cookies are stored on the user’s computer and submitted to our website. Therefore, you as a user have full control over the use of cookies. We are present on social media and platforms in order to communicate with interested parties and users of such platforms and to inform them about the company. When accessing the respective media and platforms, the terms and conditions and data processing notices/policies and guidelines of the respective operators apply.

Your rights related to your personal data

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning your person are being processed, to request information on the processing of your personal data, and a copy of such personal data. In accordance with applicable data protection law, you have the right to request the completion or the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you, to request that personal data concerning you be erased, to request a restriction on the processing of the personal data, to receive the personal data concerning you that you provided to us. 

Deletion of data and period of data storage

The personal data of the person concerned will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage does not apply anymore. Furthermore, data may be stored if this has been provided for by the European or national laws/regulations to which CureOmics is subject. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfilment of a contract.
